Sadly but peacefully, after a short illness, with his family by his side whilst at his home, on Thursday, 26th February 2026, William Jackson Gillies (Billy) of Dulsie Drive, Nairn, aged 74 years, a devoted husband of Christina, a much loved Dad to Fiona and Rhona, a caring father-in-law of Mike and John, an adored grandad of Kayleigh, Jackson, Daniel and Isabella, a sadly missed brother to Marion and Jim and friend to so many. Funeral service at Nairn Free Church on Monday, 9th March at 1.00pm, thereafter to Nairn Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, may be given at the service to Nairn and District Pipe Band.

Allan James McGuire, aged 64, passed away peacefully at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness on Sunday, 15th February 2026, surrounded by his family. Recently retired after a distinguished career in the motor trade. He was a very much-loved husband to Maureen, a devoted father to Siobhan, a cherished papa to Ava and a dear father-in-law to Andrew. He was also a very loved brother to Monica, Clare and Lynda and a cherished brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. Funeral service at Inverness Crematorium on Wednesday, 4th March at 12 noon, to which all are welcome to attend. Allan’s funeral service can also be attended via online live stream. There will be a private family interment at Delliefure Natural Burial Ground. A family organised Celebration of Robin's life will be held at Nairn Dunbar Golf Club on Tuesday 17th February at 2.00pm. This will begin with a short period of remembrance and reflection. All family and friends welcome. Informal dress. No flowers please, but donations to Alzheimer Scotland and Trees for Life welcome.
