Our residents had a wonderful time on a virtual journey to Tenerife, reminiscing about holidays and work trips to this beautiful destination. 🏖️

The stories and memories shared were heart warming – and the tasting of delicious Spanish fruits and vegetables was a big hit! 🍊🥒

It’s amazing how travel, even from the comfort of a chair, can spark joy and connection. 💕

🎶 Intergenerational Choir Magic at St Olaf Care Home! 🎄

We had another wonderful choir session with Kenna and Morna, preparing for our residents’ first performance at the Countdown to Christmas event! 🌟

Join us on Saturday, 29th November at 1:30 pm on Nairn High Street as our residents sing alongside Bee the Change leaders from Nairn Academy and the little stars from Auldearn Nursery. 💕

Our residents truly enjoyed some well-deserved pampering sessions in our salon, where our dedicated colleagues helped everyone feel and look their best. 🌸✨

And that’s not all – our Art Afternoons were full of colour and imagination, from beautiful paintings to stunning flower arrangements. 🌼🖌️

We’ve started our choir sessions with the wonderful Kenna and Morna Ross, and they’re already filling St Olaf Care Home with joy and harmony! 🎤🎵

📅 Every Monday at 11am

Families are warmly welcome to join us – it’s a lovely way to share music and smiles.
We’re also excited to welcome Nairn Academy young leaders and local primary school children soon for a special intergenerational performance. 🌟

❤️ Honouring Remembrance at St Olaf ❤️

Residents of St. Olaf have been enthusiastically engaging in a creative initiative, transforming the bases of recycled plastic bottles into stunningly vibrant replicas of poppy flowers. This imaginative project not only showcases the community's dedication to sustainability and recycling but also serves as a profound tribute to those who have served and sacrificed. Be sure to take the opportunity to visit our exceptional commemorative exhibit located in the heart of the St. Olaf garden. This exhibit is a testament to the artistic talents of our residents and their commitment to honoring history.

Additionally, make your way to the beautifully painted stone near the Nairn War Memorial. This stone is a significant landmark that has been meticulously adorned to reflect the deep respect and remembrance we hold for those who have fought bravely in conflicts past. Such efforts ensure that the memories of these individuals are not forgotten. Through these artistic endeavors, the community of St. Olaf collectively vows to keep their legacy alive and honor their memory with gratitude and solemnity. Lest we forget, their sacrifices remain etched in our hearts and minds, reminding us of the peace and freedoms we enjoy today.

At St Olaf, we proudly honour the brave men and women who gave their lives for our country.

Our stunning poppy display is the result of weeks of heartfelt work by our residents and colleagues, who hand painted each poppy with care and dedication.

We were honoured to welcome Brian from the Ross-shire branch of the Seaforth Highlanders Association, who helped assemble the display and laid a wreath on behalf of the association.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this meaningful tribute — a beautiful reminder of courage, sacrifice, and community spirit. 🕊️

What an incredible day of music, dance, and togetherness! Our residents and colleagues joined forces for a flash mob, dancing to Jerusalema and playing musical instruments – the energy was amazing! 💃🥁

We love creating opportunities for our residents to learn something new and enjoy fun, uplifting experiences. 🌟
