Following the advice of the General Council of Soft Tissue Therapies I will be continuing to wear all my PPE tomorrow, and conducting Covid screening, despite the relaxation of the rules. This keeps me in line with other healthcare professionals. The nature of what I do is close contact and I have a duty of care as a therapist to you and to others, so will be following their advice. I would ask clients to please continue to wear a mask during treatment so we can protect each other, our families and our businesses.

Sadly Cheshire’s move into Tier 4 means that I will be closing my doors tomorrow for the foreseeable future.
I will be in touch with everyone who is booked in but at the moment I’m unsure when I will be able to reopen.

At 3pm today I received an email to say after discussions between my professional body and the government it has been decided that as a Level 4 Sports Massage Therapist I will now be allowed to continue to work during the current lockdown. This is because the SMA (Sports Massage Association) have recently managed to add sports massage therapy and sports therapy to the Therapy Professionals category on the register for classification of industries along with physiotherapists.

Thank you to all my clients for your continued support and a busy few days after the initial advise was to close down 😘😊

Sadly due to the impending national lockdown I will be closing my doors from Thursday until 2nd December at the earliest 😔

The green light has been given and I can re-open from Monday 13th July. As much as I’d love to see all of you on Monday I’ve got a list of pre-lockdown cancellations and a waiting list to get through and book in.

Please be patient with me. I will be in touch with all of you on that list in the next couple of days to get you booked in and advise of Covid protocols.

It goes without saying please don’t come along if you’ve got any symptoms, I will be taking your temperature upon arrival and mine twice daily.
All clients will be asked to wash their hands when they enter the room, hand sanitiser and masks will be available (if you’ve got your own great, but no additional charge if you don’t).
I will be in PPE, the room will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitised between each client, clean linen of course as per usual.

Looking forward to catching up with you all and getting back into it 🥰🥰

Covid Update

Following the Prime Minister’s update unfortunately I will not be opening 4th July.

It is unclear when I will be allowed to open. All the professional bodies in the industry along with the General Council for Soft Tissue Therapies are in discussions with the powers that be and until they have an answer we all have to sit tight.

I will be in touch with everyone as soon as I have something more definite to book people in.
