We would like to wish Nick all the best this week as he starts a new journey outside his fitness career.

This will mean that the Thursday 12pm class will be removed from the time table from w/c 27th April for now and Friday's 12pm class will be now be with Jo and then Bek from June.

Client success: Craig Mooney

"I’d been frustrated with persistent running injuries over the last couple of years and an MRI last year revealing a torn labrum in the hip. I knew I needed to either have surgery or really focus on strengthening & mobilising the hip.

Having trained with Matt & Lottie in the past, I got in touch and they welcomed me to one of the reformer classes & I can confidently say the symptoms in and around the hip are improving.

Ive been attending Moveology consistently for six months and I'm amazed at how varied each class is and despite the movements being low impact on the joints. There’s always exercises in the reformer class that push you to work muscles that I’m convinced you couldn’t replicate these exercises in a traditional gym by yourself.

The instructors have a wealth of knowledge and bring their own individual style & energy to class (also an occasional dodgy playlist) which creates a positive friendly atmosphere.

They will layer the movements for beginners to the more advanced so they are inclusive for all abilities. Everything is broken down slowly and explained in detail so all you require is a willingness & a little concentration which admittedly is not one of my strong points.

I feel that my glutes, adductors, core and all those other little muscles (that I can’t pronounce) are much stronger which in turn is helping to keep my hips stable. On top of this and a tailored running plan from my coach I’m back to running mostly pain free.

I recently just completed my first race back at the Nantwich 10k coming 6th and only 15 seconds off a PB so I’m heading in the right direction & the goal now is to just stay fit & healthy and away from surgery for as long as possible.

Snacking doesn’t have to mean grabbing something quick and sugary. A balanced, high-protein snack can keep your energy steady, support muscle recovery, and help you stay satisfied between meals.

What makes a good snack?
Aim for a mix of protein + fibre + healthy fats to keep you fuller for longer.

Simple mindful snack ideas:

🥣 Greek yoghurt + berries + seeds
Protein, antioxidants, and healthy fats.

🍎 Apple slices + peanut butter + chicken strips
Fibre + protein + natural sweetness.

🥚 Boiled eggs + cherry tomatoes
High protein and rich in essential nutrients.

Meet the Team: Welcome Lucy 💛

We’re so excited to welcome Lucy to the Moveology team.

Lucy brings a unique blend of movement, therapy, education and energy work. Her journey began in the equine world, where she saw first-hand how holistic therapies like Reiki can transform both performance and wellbeing.

With a background in teaching, including supporting children with sight loss, Lucy has a natural ability to adapt and personalise her approach to every individual.

Movement has always been a big part of her life. After having her second daughter, she joined Moveology to rebuild strength and quickly fell in love with Reformer Pilates.

Living with MS, Lucy understands the challenges of pain and fatigue. She’s found Pilates to be transformational for her strength, balance and coordination, playing a huge role in managing her symptoms.

She’s passionate about supporting women through all stages of life, from postnatal recovery to navigating health conditions and changes in the body.

With a strong focus on the mind-body connection, Lucy incorporates practices like meditation and Reiki to help reduce stress and support overall wellbeing.

Lucy’s mission is simple: to help people feel supported, understood and empowered, no matter their starting point.
