We kindly ask all our patients to please bear with us at this time. We are currently extremely short on reception and administrative staff, and our remaining team members are doing their very best to maintain the delivery of services.

We appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support while we work through this challenging period. Thank you

We would like to let you know that Dr. Fleming has retired from our surgery. Her kindness, compassion, and understanding have touched the lives of so many, and she will be sorely missed by both patients and staff alike. We hope she enjoys her newfound free time and is able to spend it doing all the things she loves.

We are aware of recent reports of a meningitis outbreak in Kent. While the risk to most people remains low, it’s important to be aware of the symptoms.

Symptoms can include a high temperature, severe headache, neck stiffness, sensitivity to light, nausea or vomiting, drowsiness, or a rash that does not fade when pressed. If you or someone else develops these symptoms, seek urgent medical advice by calling NHS 111 or attending A&E if seriously unwell.

Please also check your vaccination status, as protection against some types of meningitis is available. You can now quickly view your immunisation record on the NHS App.

If you have any concerns, don’t hesitate to contact the practice.

All the staff at Narberth Surgery were truly humbled to receive a specially commissioned award from Mr and Mrs Wheeler and Father Paul, recognising the care and support provided by our team over many years. We will display it with great pride in our reception area. Recognition like this is rare, and it means so much to us, a wonderful boost to team morale.

Urgent Patient Notice – Icy Conditions

Despite repeated requests, the owners of the building have not provided gritting or grit bins. As a result, the car park and footpaths are currently extremely hazardous due to sheet ice and frozen snow.

With further snow and ice overnight and more treacherous conditions forecast, we are concerned about the risk of slips and falls.

Please check conditions carefully before travelling to the surgery, whether on foot or by vehicle. Your safety is our priority, and we do not want anyone to be injured.

Thank you for your understanding.
