It is with a heavy heart that we announce our dispensary will be closed as of next week.
Due to the change in contract, we have been informed by the ICB that we are no longer able to provide this service to our patients.

You are still able to submit your medication requests through the practice as normal, we will just ask that you select a local pharmacy to be your new nominated pharmacy for those of you that were previously with the practice dispensary.

Important Update: The dispensary at Cliff Villages Medical Practice will close permanently from Monday 2 March 2026.

We are pleased to confirm that we will re-open on Monday 23rd February.
We would like to reassure our patients that the practice is now operating under full CQC registration following a change in provider.

If you have a routine appointment at the practice, please attend as planned.

If you need an urgent appointment, please phone the practice after 9am on Monday morning.

Please bear with the practice team whilst normal services are re-established and clinical provision improves.

For reassurance, we continue with our known GPs - Dr Douglas and Dr Duckenfield but hope to expand our team to ensure improved appointment access and continuity for our patients.

Whilst we cannot give you an exact date, we are hoping to be back open next week. We will update you as much as possible.

Please remember our staff are on social media and only human and will see many of your comments. We appreciate you are angry and scared and we want to alleviate that as soon as we can.

The staff that have continued to turn up to work each day despite extreme pressures have given their all and sacrificed a significant amount.

We will be back and we will be better. You, our patients, are our priority.

We understand this is a scary time for our patients, please know that this short term measure is for the long term good.

There is no need to register elsewhere, the closure is temporary and we will update you with plans to open again as soon as we are able. All staff employed by the practice are working their hardest with the ICB to deliver you safe, effective and stable care going forward.

We ask that you please try to avoid speculation, we will let you know as much information as we are allowed to when we are allowed to.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Cliff Villages Medical Practice, covering Navenby and Waddington will be closed today (19th February 2026).

For minor illnesses, please visit your local pharmacy.

If you require an urgent appointment please contact 111 or attend your local UTC at Lincoln, Gainsborough, Sleaford or Grantham.

If you have medications to collect, you can still collect these from the surgery, please ring the bell at the front/back doors.

If you have run out of your medication, please ring 111.

We are unable to give you any further information at this time, but will be providing regular updates where possible.
