I hear this a lot from clients.
Insight is important - but knowing the reason isnโt the same as feeling differently.
Healing happens when we go beyond the explanation and actually stay with the emotion, the fear, the discomfort. Thatโs the part that changes things.
This is often why just a few sessions won't change much. You might gain self-awareness which is good, but it's not the same as lasting change.
The relationship is the therapy, not the insight alone.
Feeling understood without judgement.
Being remembered.
Being met. ๐ฑ
