This double-blind, randomised, placebo-controlled trial evaluated the effectiveness of individualised homeopathic medicines in managing premenstrual syndrome among women of reproductive age experiencing symptoms for over three months.

Compared with placebo, the homeopathy group showed a statistically significant reduction in overall PMS symptoms, with improvements evident by the second month and sustained through the third month, as measured by validated assessment scales.

The findings suggest that individualised homeopathy may offer a safe and effective complementary approach for reducing PMS symptoms, although further independent studies are needed to confirm these results and identify the most effective remedies.

A study was conducted to assess the effectiveness of individualised homeopathic treatments for managing adenotonsillar hypertrophy (ATH) in children, a common upper respiratory disorder that can cause symptoms like sleep apnea and cognitive disturbances.

The multicenter observational study, 202 children with ATH were given individualised homeopathic treatment and followed up monthly for 12 months. Significant improvements were observed in adenoid symptoms, tonsillar size, sleep-related breathing disorders, and the adenoid/nasopharyngeal ratio.

Homeopathic remedies like Calcarea carbonicum, Phosphorus, and Silicea were frequently prescribed, to positive effect and no serious adverse events were recorded. The findings suggest homeopathy may benefit children with ATH, though further research is needed.
