The TaAP today have been out and about meeting one of our partners Community Arts by ZK.

It’s really great to hear about all the projects they are delivering and the people they are connecting with through Art projects that improve Well-being and Mental Health.

What a fantastic way to start the day. The team joined the Covid Lounge walk and talk session hosted by WALK and TALK and Building Bridges Pendle to talk about the benefits physical activity has around Mental Health issues and Covid. Great to see local community partners and community memebers join the walk and talk, great walk and some brilliant views.

Who has always wanted to learn how to ride a bike or who used to ride and enjoyed it but unfortunately life got in the way and you haven't been on a bike for a while?

Well here is the perfect chance for you to learn how to ride a bike over 9 progressive weeks in a safe and friendly environment. With qualified coaches helping you learn or rediscover that great feeling of riding a bike.

Please check out Go Velo's Sofa to Saddle course which is running from the Steven Burke Track, Barrowford.

It's a great way to get physically active, learn something new, be outdoors and make new friends/connections.

The Good Life Project is a therapeutic horticultural programme run by us & funded by The National Lottery. Based at Hodge House Allotments in Nelson, its aim is to improve the health & well-being of individuals who may be isolated, inactive or have mental health issues

The pandemic has disrupted normal life & affected so many people – making support for those with mental health issues even more important
