Dining Committee Dine Out Treat 🍽️❤️

Yesterday afternoon, we held our second ‘Dining Committee’ meeting, made up of our lovely ladies and gents, led by WISH Activity Lead Razia and our Chef Claire 👩‍🍳

The committee meets every 3 months to hear directly from our residents on what foods they’d love to see on our menus and get feedback on likes and dislikes ✅

After the meeting, the committee members had a great time eating at Banny's British Kitchen. Everyone enjoyed the food and company 🥰

🎆 Bonfire Night Bonanza 🎇

There were sparklers and smiles all around last week at ASH, our residents had a blast making chocolate apples to sell at our Bonfire Night bonanza 🎂🍫

It was wonderful to see so many of our families and staff joining in on the fun and festivities. A huge thank you goes out to everyone who made it special evening for our ladies and gents! ❤️

Christmas Donations 🎄🎁

With our Christmas Fayre fast approaching (poster to follow soon!), we are kindly asking for our supporters for any donations for our event 🙏

From any unwanted gift sets, chocolates or bottles, we would appreciate any help to put on an amazing day for our residents and families ❤️

Carving Up The Fun! 🎃👻

This week at Andrew Smith House, our ladies and gents got creative and competitive with a pumpkin carving competition together - look how fantastic they turned out! ❤️

We also got in a round of pumpkin putting golf with plenty of friendly rivalry and laughter all around 😄.

Blackpool Illuminations 🚌⭐️

Last week, a group of our lovely ladies and gents, accompanied by our care and WISH Activity Team, ventured to Blackpool to experience the magic of the Blackpool Lights 💡🕺

We indulged in delicious fish and chips from the Top Chippy, and as the sun set, the iconic Blackpool Lights sparkled to life! Our residents were captivated by the dazzling display, reminiscing and soaking up the nostalgia 🥰

Double the celebration, double the joy! 🎉🎂 This week at Andrew Smith House, we threw a very special double birthday party for our lovely Jean and amazing Richard! They enjoyed opening their presents and being showered with love and wishes. Happy birthday, Jean and Richard! ❤️

Halloween Crafts & Fun 🤩

Last week at ASH, we had been a blast! Our ladies and gents got very creative with Halloween arts and crafts 🎃🖌️, enjoyed plenty of table games 🎲, and even had some fun balloon exercises 🧘‍♀️🎈 to keep us moving and grooving!

Big Thank You to Bombay Lounge Barrowford ❤️

This is Robyn, our Unit Manager, collecting delicious Indian food from our local restaurant the Bombay lounge in Barrowford. They generously donate to local care homes across the local area and have been a wonderful supporter of our home for many years. Our residents thoroughly enjoyed their meal and we would like to say a massive thank you to them for their kindness 🥰❤️

Lunch and Retail Therapy 🍽️🛍️

This week our lovely ladies and gents alongside our fab WISH Activity Team, had an amazing time at Pendle Village Mill!

Our group enjoyed some fantastic shopping, delicious food at the cafe, and great company - a perfect way to spend the day 🥰
