The Cross Street Clinic will be closed on Monday 19 September to allow us time to honour Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II on the day of her funeral. We have already contacted our patients who are affected by this closure and offered alternative appointments. We thank you for your understanding.

A very big thank you for your patience and understanding that my absence from work caused this last week. On Friday 25 Feb my 91 year old mum had a fall which caused a massive haematoma on the shin of her right leg. This had to be drained twice - once in the early hours of Sunday and a 2nd time on Monday morning. She was discharged home on Monday afternoon without a care package even though she couldn’t stand and walk independently. In the early hours of Wednesday (2.3.22)morning she suffered a small heart attack. She is home and the hospital at home services are building a package of care to keep her safe. By Monday this will be completely in place 🤞and this means I should be fully engaged, back at work by Tuesday.
My apologies to all affected and grateful thanks to Christine and Wendy for their hard work and support this last week.

Although Covid restrictions will end in many settings in England from Monday 19th July, Public Health England’s infection prevention control guidelines and hospital visiting guidance are set to remain in place for all staff and visitors.

Anyone accessing or visiting any healthcare setting including hospitals, GP practices, dental practices, optometrists and pharmacies must continue to wear a face covering and follow social distancing rules to ensure patients and staff are protected.
