Huge well done to today’s Early Years practitioners at Dunkys Day Nursery for completing their Paediatric First Aid training.

It was a brilliant session with lots of great questions honest discussions and hands on practice. You all brought such a positive attitude and really showed how much you care about keeping the children in your care safe confident and supported.

First aid is serious stuff but you handled it with focus teamwork and a good sense of humour which always makes learning stick. You should be proud of the skills you’ve refreshed and the responsibility you take on every day.

Thanks for making it such an enjoyable day to teach and well done on getting it done💚⛑️👏

Big shout-out to today’s team for smashing their Emergency First Aid at Work course!

Really enjoyed running the session, great attitude, good questions, and plenty of hands-on effort all round. You should feel confident knowing you’ve got the skills to step in and help if it really counts.

Nice work everyone, and hopefully we never have to put it to the test! 👏💚

👏 Well done, Foster Carers! 👏

Huge congratulations to yesterday’s brilliant group of foster carers for completing your Paediatric First Aid training.

You tackled CPR, choking, anaphylaxis, bleeds, and all the “what if?” moments with confidence, care, and a great sense of humour!

While we had a few laughs along the way, the seriousness of what you’ve learned can’t be overstated. The skills you now have could one day make a life-changing difference for a child in your care and that’s something to be incredibly proud of 💚

Thank you for your engagement, questions, and commitment to keeping children safe. It was a pleasure to teach you and I have no doubt you’ll put these skills to excellent use (hopefully never in an emergency!).

Well done to you all! ⛑️🫶🏻

This week, our Training and Safeguarding Lead, Zoe, spent time volunteering alongside Merseyside Police, supporting and assisting with medical training scenarios.

It’s been a fantastic week of collaboration and a great example of how joint working helps strengthen skills, understanding, and ultimately improve patient outcomes and the care we provide across our communities.

Thank you to Merseyside Police for the opportunity and continued partnership. 🚑👏

🚑 Call emergency services if there’s severe pain, deformity, or severe head injury

When in doubt ,don’t move them and get help.
