Another fantastic day delivering Paediatric First Aid training to the wonderful team at Dunkys Day Nursery! 🐬✨

It’s always a pleasure to work with such a dedicated, enthusiastic group of staff who throw themselves into every scenario. From tiny bumps to big emergencies, their confidence and skills just keep growing every time I visit.

First Aid in a nursery setting isn’t just a “nice to have”, it’s essential. Little ones rely on calm, capable adults who can act quickly and effectively when it matters most. Today was all about building that confidence, refreshing vital skills, and making sure every child in their care is as safe as possible 💚⛑️

A great day yesterday delivering Paediatric First Aid training. 👶⛑️

Lots of hands-on practice covering CPR, choking, and emergency scenarios, with everyone getting stuck in and building the confidence to respond if a child or baby ever needs help.

A massive well done to everyone who took part, asked great questions, and fully got involved in the practical training!💚👏

🚨 If someone collapses, do THIS first.

Many people panic and don’t know where to start.

Follow these simple steps:

1️⃣ Check for response – gently shake and shout
2️⃣ Shout for help, Call 999 or 112
3️⃣ Check for breathing

4️⃣ If they are not breathing normally, start CPR immediately.

Knowing these steps could help save a life
