Oak House has an exciting career opportunity.
Oak House is looking to recruit a night care assistant.
We have one vacancy for between 20-40 hours per week. These are 10 hour shifts on a ROTA basis.
Shifts run between 21:15 and 07:30. Although this is predominately night work, we may occasionally ask you to help during day shifts. These shifts run from 07:15 - 14:30 & 14:15 - 21:30.
Oak House is looking for kind and motivated individuals who aspire to provide the highest levels of care.
If you are looking for a new experience, a challenge and the opportunity to learn new skills, this could be the position for you. We do ask that potential applicants are 'comfortable' with using a computer. We can provide additional training should this be required.
Duties will include supporting adults with learning disabilities throughout the night, light house work and the completion of paperwork. The role may undertake other duties as advised by your manager. Your role and tasks will be advised to you by the Registered Manager or senior support team.
Although this position is predominantly night-time work, due to the nature of the business, we do ask that all applicants are flexible regarding working shifts including; days, evenings, weekends, nights bank holidays, public holidays and unsociable hours. We may also need additional cover at short notice, however, we try to avoid this as much as possible.
You shall be required to have a enhanced DBS. DBS disclosure cost shall be met by successful applicant.
