Why not have a curiosity hour with your partner ..

I teach my clients to schedule a Date Night, an Admin Hour and a Parenting Hour.

These all gives clarity on these subject matters ensuring communication channels remain wide open.

Take an hour to ask some questions.

I encourage you both to come from a place of curiosity, non-judgement and open mindedness.

Really listen to what the other person is saying.

Do you get that sick feeling when you’re thinking about addressing something in your relationship?

It is weighing heavy on you but you know it’s time to be honest.

You’re not looking to blame, you're just looking to have a conversation that expresses your needs and desires within the relationship.

Hard conversations are not fun.

However, conflict is growth trying to happen so if we are able to share our innermost fears, we then can have a relationship that enables connection and closeness.

Sometimes couples believe that having a hard conversation will manifest itself to end the relationship, but actually the raw truth is the more you share and communicate, the closer you can become. Emotional connection within a relationship is a key component to feel significant, safe and be able to have spontaneity.

I’d rather talk to you at 4:44 am in the morning than talk at your funeral. Nothing worse than losing a friend because they didn't think they had anyone to talk to.
