Happy New Year to all of our patients. While this time of year is joyful for many, we are also thinking of those who may be struggling or remembering loved ones they’ve lost.
We wish you comfort, kindness, and brighter days in the year ahead.

We are closing today from 4.30pm but 111 and DHU will be available for any urgent medical needs after this time, we are open as normal on Friday 2nd January from 8am.

Friday 2nd Jan – OPEN 8am – 6.30pm

We are closing on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve at 4.30pm, however you can still submit online medical advice or queries until 6.30pm, alternatively call 111 or 999 in an emergency.

Edit - A huge thank you to everyone that came to the coffee morning this morning, thank you for being so generous in your support for Blythe House, it really was lovely to see everyone and special thanks to the wonderful Carol from the Fire Service and our lovely Social Prescribing Team.

Don’t forget we are having a Christmas Coffee Morning in aid of Blythe House this morning at 10-12 lots of lovely handmade christmas decorations for sale and refreshments available for a donation. Lucky Dip - every ticket wins and a raffle.
We look forward to seeing you at 10am - all welcome.

Feeling the chill? Staying warm keeps you well and helps reduce winter illnesses. Quick tips inspired by Age UK’s Stay Warm advice:

Heat your home to at least 18°C (65°F), especially living room and bedroom
Wear layers, warm socks, and a hat/scarf if you’re heading out
Keep moving regularly, drink hot drinks, and eat balanced, warm meals
Close curtains at dusk, block draughts, and use a hot water bottle or electric throw safely

Check you’re getting all the support you’re entitled to (Winter Fuel Payment, Warm Home Discount) and have your boiler serviced

If you’re worried about staying warm, contact your local council or

Look out for neighbours and family who might be at risk.

To all eligible patients attending Flu clinics today - A few quick tips to help everyone:

Please wear short-sleeved clothing so we can vaccinate quickly.
If you can, walk or use public transport — our car park is very limited.
If you’re driving, take extra care in the car park and allow time for parking.
