The Gatehouse Residential Care Home is a privately family owned home that provides residential care for the elderly. We are located in Barton-on-Sea, on the edge of the New Forest, close to the sea and the town of New Milton. The owners, Mr & Mrs Breckon have owned the home for 25 years and it has been managed by Mrs Sally Price for the last 17 years. Formerly a private residence of character and spaciously planned standing in an acre of well stocked gardens in Becton Lance, five minutes walk from the sea front. Just ten minutes walk away is the local post office and shops while we are also on a bus route to New Milton Town centre. We would suggest a visit to the Gatehouse which will give you a clearer picture of our facilities that we are able to offer. We are always happy and pleased to meet any intending residents and their relatives. We have just completed work on another 8 beautiful ground floor rooms, 6 with their own patio and view of garden or courtyard.
