From mindful movement to deep relaxation, each offering is an opportunity to pause, breathe and prioritise your wellbeing🤍

At the end of the month we’re introducing our very first wellbeing sessions for children, created especially for primary-aged children to relax, explore their imagination and support their emotional wellbeing in a gentle, nurturing space.

Blending ancient wisdom from Traditional Chinese Medicine with deeply calming yoga practices, this session explores why we struggle to sleep and what actually helps. We’ll look beyond sleep “hacks” and tracking apps, and into the rhythms of the nervous system, the organ clock, and the subtle habits that quietly shape our nights.

You’ll learn practical sleep hygiene tools, evening routines and body-based techniques designed to improve not just the amount of sleep you get, but the quality of rest you’re achieving.
Expect gentle movement, breathwork, guided rest and simple insights you can take straight into your bedtime routine.

New offering at Wellness@Eight☀️

We are so excited to introduce our very first wellbeing sessions designed especially for children!🌈

This Easter, we’re delighted to welcome Maria from Compass Connections, who will be leading Relaxation Sessions for junior school aged children🌿

These gentle, nurturing sessions are designed to help children slow down, relax and learn simple tools to support their wellbeing in a calm and supportive environment.

The sessions aim to:
• Help children relax and unwind
• Reduce feelings of worry or anxiety
• Support emotional regulation
• Improve attention and focus
• Strengthen executive functioning (a key predictor of academic success)
• Support overall health and wellbeing

We’re really looking forward to opening our space to younger members of the community and offering children a chance to build lifelong wellbeing skills✨

Our first 2 sessions will be:

- Monday 30th March
2-3.30pm (9-11yo)

- Friday 10th April
12.30-2pm (9-11yo)

With ten years personal practice, Harriet now brings her love for Power Yoga and Slow Flow to WellnessatEight, bringing a balance of strength and intention to every class. She’s drawn to the way yoga builds resilience — not just in the body, but in the mind.
Her classes thoughtfully combine music, breath, and fluid movement to create an immersive, energising atmosphere. Expect strong, steady flows paired with moments of deep release, relaxation, and restorative touch.
Outside the studio, she’s raising two young children and spending as much time as possible in nature — as well as always being on the hunt for the best coffee spots in Dorset!
