In a world that doesn’t make sense anymore, moving into to a nursing home can be so confusing and frightening … in those first moments when welcoming someone, forget medical terminology, assessments, body checks and observations …. Show care, show love and remind them that it’s okay not to be okay, we’ll navigate this path together, you matter, you are still you and we welcome you into our family to be loved as long as you need it ❤️💙

Every new person we’re blessed to welcome to our family is welcomed with a basket full of love, personalised for them because it’s the little things that makes a big difference. They may not remember what you did for them but they will always remember how you made them feel.
