Are you enthusiastic, hardworking and dynamic and want to support adults with learning disabilities to reach beyond expectation? We're recruiting two Project Co-ordinators/Classroom Assistants to work at our Mansfield base.

Post 1 Full time permanent: 37.5hrs per week, 8.30am-4.30pm Monday - Friday
Post 2 Part time permanent: 28hrs per week (Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri 9.30am-3.30pm, Tues 9am-3.30pm) with expectation to attend monthly staff meetings paid as overtime.

We were delighted to welcome volunteers with Nottingham RockCorps to spend the day at Flower Pod Southwell, jazzing up two corners of the garden. The team got stuck in and grafted to get as much done as possible in the limited time. Thank you so much to everyone to came along, and enjoy Tinie Tempah on Wednesday!

We were also joined by Ed Attenborough, the High Sheriff for Nottinghamshire, who's done a fantastic job championing this initiative and bringing it to our area!

🛒 On Saturday we had a great day packing bags at Waitrose & Partners Newark and together you raised a fantastic £730.14 for Reach! Thank you to all our volunteer bag packers and collectors who gave their time, and to every shopper who generously donated.

Your support will help fund more weekly skills sessions, health and wellbeing activities, and one‑to‑one support so adults with learning disabilities can build confidence, stay well and feel connected in their community. The increased visibility in store also means more local people now know about Reach, helping us connect with new families, volunteers and partners.

Steve, one of our dedicated volunteers at Mansfield Reach, is taking on the Chesterfield 10k on 17 May to raise vital funds for Reach.

He wants to give back because he feels Reach offers so much to the people we support. Steve plays several sports, including football and padel, and is now challenging himself to see if he can still take on a 10k.

His football club, Chesterfield FC Seniors, along with the Ladies team, will also be holding a charity session for him on Good Friday, with all proceeds kindly going towards his fundraising.

She is running because she has seen first-hand how vital our support is in helping adults live fuller, more independent lives. As someone who grew up locally, supporting a Nottingham-based charity is especially meaningful to her.
