WHAT’S COMING UP NEXT WEEK👇
Your FIRST class is FREE. Book via the links, OR for in-person classes, simply turn up and pay on the door (if not your first class). FREE cuppa & biscuit afterward. Just bring a bottle of water and a smile!
Sometimes the best way to keep moving is to find small moments in your daily routine. For instance, when the kettle is boiling or you're waiting for the toast to pop up, a gentle stretch using the kitchen worktop for support can make a world of difference. ☕
It doesn’t need to be strenuous. It’s more about reducing stiffness and increasing flexibility as well as reminding our bodies that they are designed to move. A little bit of movement, done often, can be very beneficial, regardless of your fitness level. 💙

Are you looking for a gentle way to get yourself moving on those days you stay in? We've shared some easy ideas for exercises you can do while sitting or standing at home.
As we always say in class, listen to your body and find the pace that feels right for you. These tips are just a little nudge to help you keep things moving between our weekly sessions.
Today is Mothering Sunday, and we wanted to take a quiet moment to celebrate the wonderful mother figures in our community.
Whether you are a mum, a grandmother, an auntie, or a caregiver, your strength and compassion are the threads that hold so much together. At MOVEability, we see that spirit every week in our classes – in the way we support and cheerlead one another!
We also know that for some, today can be a slightly difficult day. Whether you are missing someone dear or navigating your own path, please know we are thinking of you.
Wishing everyone a loving, gentle and peaceful Mother’s Day. 🌸

We always love it when our funders come along and join in our classes, so we were thrilled to have Andrea Malcolm from Connecting Communities in Berkshire visit our Chieveley and Lambourn classes. It's so important you see firsthand the impact our classes have on the communities we serve. Thank you for your ongoing support in helping us make these brilliant classes happen! 🩵
Thank you also to the venues featured in this post (Chieveley Village Hall and The Lambourn Centre) and of course our other wonderful funders and venues! 🙌

In our classes, we often talk about going at your own pace. Outside of class, that same rule applies. Whether you’re engaged in day-to-day activities like pottering in the garden or walking to the post office, or you’re managing a chronic health condition, listen to what your body is telling you. 🌱
There is no prize for rushing. Taking your time and moving with intention is a wonderful way to stay safe and feel capable. After all, it is the steady, consistent steps – and a welcoming environment – that keep us moving forward.💙

If you’ve ever wondered what actually happens in our sessions, we follow a very specific structure we call 'The MOVEability Way.'
We liken it to starting at the foot of a hill. When we are ready, some of us climb it gently, others more energetically, but each of us at our own pace. We celebrate reaching the top, and then we gently come back down again. 💙
Along the way, we enjoy various uplifting tunes, have fun with various exercise moves, and learn how each move helps our bodies. When we reach the bottom, we all enjoy a well-deserved cuppa. ☕

As the seasons change, it’s easy to forget that we still need to keep our fluids up.💧
When we think about staying hydrated, we often think only about thirst. Yet it plays a key role in keeping our energy levels steady and our minds sharp.
It’s one of those small acts of self-care that helps us maintain our health. Perhaps keep a glass of water nearby whilst you’re working or enjoying a hobby – your body will certainly thank you for it. 💙
Of course, don't forget to stay hydrated when exercising!

March is Women’s History Month – a time to celebrate the contributions women have made to our communities and beyond. 🌸✨
Did you know this month grew out of a small movement by educators in California back in 1978? They noticed a lack of women represented in school curricula and wanted students to see women as leaders, innovators, and change-makers. Today, it is a globally recognised month that promotes gender equality by celebrating role models and the vital impact of womanhood in all its forms.
This really hits home for us at MOVEability as a female-founded and female-run social enterprise., since we take great pride in our mission to break down barriers to exercise for everyone.💙
True inclusivity means recognising that everyone, however they identify, deserves to feel seen and supported. We welcome everyone to our classes and we hope that by leading with purpose and compassion, we can inspire others to become change-makers in their own way.
