Happy International Men’s Day from all of us at Winchcombe Place.

Today we’re celebrating the incredible men who make our home what it is , from our residents with their rich stories, humour and resilience, to the dedicated men in our team who show up every single day with kindness, patience and pride in the work they do.

We’re lucky to have such wonderful gentlemen living and working here at Winchcombe, and today is the perfect moment to recognise them.

Thank you for everything you bring to our home , you are valued, appreciated and truly celebrated.
( Apologies if you don't see your picture here, - please know that we still very much appreciate you. )

Today we had our annual Remembrance Day walk at Winchcombe.
Every year, we walk together along the front of the home ,residents, families, and staff, to take a moment to remember those who served, and those who still do.

The Last Post played, we stood together in silence for two minutes, and Julie read a beautiful poem called “Why Do I Wear My Poppy” ,you’ll be able to read it at the end of the photos.

To everyone who came along, thank you, it really does mean a great deal to us for your continued support
To our amazing team. you never fail to make every event feel special.Thank you from the bottom of hearts.
And to the amazing residents ....every single day, you remind us what really matters in life, and we are ever greatful.

We will remember them. ❤️

Baking, Birthdays and Brilliant Laughter!
It’s been a lovely few days here at Winchcombe Place — from baking cookies to celebrating two very special birthdays!
A big Happy Birthday to Angela and Sheila — we hope you were thoroughly spoiled. 🎉
To top it all off, the fantastic Tickled Pink brought the house down with plenty of singing, laughter, and smiles all round.
Simply wonderful.

We were pleased to welcome pupils from Winchcombe School today as part of our Generations of Change project.

They helped us tidy the gardens and took time to learn more about caring for the environment. They were polite, respectful, and a real credit to their school.

Thank you, Winchcombe – it’s always a pleasure to have you with us.

Fantastic sealife artwork made from recycled bubble wrap this week, just brilliant.
