We are celebrating Purple Tuesday today in our homes to raise awareness about accessibility for disabled people, a subject very close to us. Today, we have painted the house (not literally) purple with a number of decorations. We also have the young people dressed in purple and taking part in a number of activities such as purple craft fun, purple baking and reading stories written by children/adults with Disabilities to help further learn about the subject.

We’ve been busy transforming one of our homes to make it even more welcoming, personal and fun for the young people we support 💙

From a Toybox-themed graffiti wall full of colour and energy, to a Ratatouille mural in the dining room that brings mealtimes to life – and even a Toy Story masterpiece in a young person’s bedroom – each mural is more than just decoration. It’s about creating a space that feels special, safe, and truly their own.

These vibrant touches are already making a big impact, helping the young people feel more at home and proud of where they live.
