We were pleased to attend today’s Menopause APPG meeting for the launch of the Menopause APPG inquiry report: “Rebuilding Trust: Tackling Inequity in Menopause Care”.

Menopause affects everyone differently and it can have a serious impact on women’s health, wellbeing and ability to work. Access to information, support and treatment is vital but it’s not yet equal for all women and people.

The report calls for practical steps to make menopause care more equitable – from longer, more flexible GP appointments and the option to see the same or a female doctor, to safe community spaces where people can share experiences, and accessible, tailored information designed for different communities and languages.

We believe the women’s health hub model is essential to tackling these inequalities and bringing the right care closer to home for women.

This report comes at an important moment – during and following last week’s announcement that menopause will be included in routine NHS Health Checks for women over 40.

Baby Loss Awareness Week 2025 🌈

"Sometimes, the smallest things take up the biggest room in your heart" 🧸

Behind every statistic, every candle, every quote is a baby that is loved and remembered by a family who longed to meet them. ✨

This baby loss awareness week, it's important to remember that for these families their grief goes beyond just the one week of the year. ☁️

However this week reminds us of the little ones who are no longer in our arms or body, but forever in our hearts. 💛

Sending love, light & healing to parents and families navigating their loss — your babies will always be with you 🤍 🕯️🌈

It’s Gynae Cancer Awareness Month…

Great advice here from the Eve Appeal

Book with me now at for discussion on risk factors and your concerns, and examination.
Consultation £190
Full cervical screening for any age, £190

It's Gynae Cancer Awareness Month so it's time to get to know the five gynae cancers and their signs and symptoms!

The five gynaecological cancers are:
-womb
-ovarian
-cervical
-vulval
-vaginal

Together, they affect 22,050 women and people with gynae organs each year in the UK. That is 60 people a day, and sadly 21 of them die too soon.

If you have any of these symptoms, or notice any changes to your body that aren't normal for you, get them checked out by a doctor.

It's more likely to be caused by something less serious than cancer, but it's worth getting checked, just in case! The earlier cancer is found, the more treatment options are available and the best possible chance you have of successful treatment.

We have lots more information on the five gynae cancers on our website: https://eveappeal.org.uk/information-and-advice/gynaecological-cancers/

If you have any other questions or worries, you can speak to our Ask Eve Nurses for free and confidential information and support. Email them on nurse@eveappeal.org.uk, call 0808 802 0019.
