Hi all,

We thought it would be helpful to give you an updated list of all of the new services we now offer in the pharmacy.

You can now come and speak to our pharmacist if you suspect you have any of the following symptoms:

💊 Earache (in children over the age of 1)

💊 Impetigo (over the age of 1)

💊 Infected insect bite (over the age of 1)

💊 Shingles ( age 18+)

💊 Sinusitis ( age 12+)

💊 Sore Throat ( age 5+)

💊 Urinary Tract Infection ( in women aged 16-64)

We are always happy to help - there’s no need to make an appointment with your doctor, just pop in to see our fully trained pharmacist!

Your GP surgery can also send us a referral.

We also offer the Think Pharmacy First Scheme (minor ailments) as well as Blood Pressure Checks (for those over 40 who have not been diagnosed with hypertension).

A great opportunity has arisen to join the team at Molineux Pharmacy. We are looking for a qualified, experienced dispenser to join our team on a full-time basis.

We are an independent pharmacy that can be demanding therefore, require someone who is motivated, hardworking, honest, and reliable with an excellent patient centred approach and customer service skills.

As a pharmacy member your duties will include:

* Being part of the local community providing advice, promoting healthier lifestyles.
* Safely dispensing prescriptions, eg ordering medications, labelling and endorsing.
* Complying with legal and professional requirements of SOP’s,
* Communicating with other healthcare professionals.
* Play an active role in general housekeeping of the dispensary and shop floor, stock ordering for OTC and dispensary, date checking and stock rotation.

We operate Monday to Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 9am-12 noon.

Pay negotiable depending on experience.

Experience is essential.
NVQ 2 or above required.

Whilst we have listed this position as experience essential we would be willing to provide full training for the right candidate.

Nursing/Residential homes, or companies in Newcastle area. If you have 30 or more people in any of the groups below, requiring Autumn Covid booster, we can come to you and carry out the vaccination quickly and easily;

• Residents in a care home for older adults and staff working in care homes for older adults
• Frontline health and social care workers
• All adults aged 50 years and over
• Persons aged 5 to 49 years in a clinical risk group
• Persons aged 5 to 49 years who are household contacts of people with immunosuppression
• Persons aged 16 to 49 years who are carers, either paid or unpaid, ie caring for a family member.
