Hey, Lindsay here 💃 part of an amazing tribe and community built on a shared love of music, movement, and connection. From a simple seed of conversation after a Shakti Dance event over 3 years ago Conscious Clubbing was born.

As a Lived Experience Lead in my day job, Kundalini Yoga teacher, Shakti Dance teacher, Reiki and Sound practitioner, I bring my own unique blend of practices to create an immersive experience that gets everyone moving and grooving in the most conscious way.

On the night, I welcome everyone in, hold space, and lead the warm-up, then move through the evening energetically ✨️🦋 weaving love, safety, and connection across the dancefloor. Closing with a soothing sound healing with gong and creating a safe space for sharing, ensuring the whole journey from setup to closing flows with harmony and care.

Boom 💥 here she is, DJ Maia

Maia has been deeply connected to electronic music since the 1980s, when her love for sound and rhythm first began to awaken. Beginning her journey in the late 1990s, she played trance and hard house on vinyl before exploring harder and deeper realms through hard trance, hardstyle, and techno, eventually embracing the spiritual magic of psytrance.

Over time, Maia’s path has evolved into the realms of ethnotronic techno, psytrance, and multi-genre sound journeys ✨️ weaving together diverse frequencies, organic textures, and hypnotic grooves. Her sets act as portals of transformation, guiding dancers through waves of rhythm and emotion that bridge the ancient and the futuristic, the inner and the cosmic.

In recent years, Maia has shared her unique energy at festivals and gatherings across the UK and Europe, including Lindisfarne Festival and Elemental, where her music continues to uplift and unite souls on the dance floor.

For three years, Maia has been an integral part of the Conscious Clubbing tribe in Newcastle ✨️ a rapidly growing movement celebrating music, embodiment, and heart-centred connection. Guided by universal flow, she invites others to journey with her through sound, spirit, and vibration.
