🎄✨ Christmas Break Announcement ✨🎄

LMC will be closed from 20th December – 4th January as I take a short break to travel over Christmas after a busy period in clinic and finishing my Physiotherapy Master’s Degree 🎓🌍🛩️

It’s been such a full-on year and I’m really looking forward to a little festive recharge! ⛄️🎅🏽

Although there are currently no set appointment times showing on the booking system, I’m still taking bookings right up until the 20th December and working most days until then, so please just message if you’d like to squeeze in before the holidays 📆

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year! 🎄✨

I can’t wait to come back in January ready for a fresh start and some exciting things happening with LMC in 2026 👀💫

Thank you all for your continued support this year!

A question LMC often gets asked:

What Is Dry Cupping and why do the cupping marks on my body look all different colours?

Here’s why…

Dry cupping is a therapeutic technique where suction cups are applied to the skin to:
• Increase blood flow
• Loosen fascia and muscle tissue
• Promote detoxification
• Encourage relaxation
• Reduce pain and inflammation

Poor Circulation
Areas with impaired blood flow or tension will often show more prominent marks. Muscles that are overused, tight, or chronically stressed tend to retain more waste products like lactic acid. The cupping draws these metabolites out of the muscle and into the interstitial tissue, where the body can reabsorb or eliminate them, leaving behind a visible discoloration.

Darker cupping marks = more stagnation
Areas with poor circulation, muscle tension, or toxin buildup will show darker marks. The suction brings that stagnation to the surface…it’s a good sign your body is clearing it out! 💪

What causes this stagnation?
✅ Chronic muscle tightness
✅ Stress or overuse
✅ Inflammation
✅ Poor lymphatic drainage

Color meanings:
🔴 Light pink = healthy tissue
🟣 Dark red/purple = tension or chronic stagnation
🟤 Brownish = toxin buildup or old trauma
⚪ No mark = good circulation

Important:
Cupping marks are not bruises!
They’re painless, temporary, and usually fade in a few days. They show that your body is responding and healing! ❤️‍🩹
