Some of you may have seen the recent posts online over suspected scandals with businesses within the funeral industry. Unfortunately we can not comment on this personally, however we can say that not everyone runs a trustworthy company, which is even more hurtful to witness when vulnerable people are involved. Nobody deserves to be treat wrong, especially at a time of grief.

Unfortunately some of our recent clients have been a target of this, and we would hope we can prevent that in the future.

After several messages and people reaching out to us for help, we would just like to confirm;

  • 2009 W.S. Taylor & Sons was set up in April 2009 by Billy Taylor and his wife Karen who opened their first funeral home in Station Road, Forest Hall.

  • 2014 After 5 years at the Station Road location W.S. Taylor & Sons was growing; word of mouth referrals resulted in growing demand. The business required bigger premises and settled for their new Funeral Home now at Meadowfield Terrace, Forest Hall. In 2014 Billy appointed a new Funeral Director in Jim Daprato to become part of the team to help Billy with funeral demands.
