****COVID BOOSTER & UNDER 65 FLU VACCINE APPOINTMENTS NOW OPEN***

If you are eligible for covid booster vaccination please book your appointment via the online national booking system below, or by calling 119. PLEASE NOTE: Appointments can not be made by calling the pharmacy as they are centrally managed by the national booking system.

Specifically, JCVI advises the following groups to be offered a COVID-19 booster vaccine this autumn:

- residents in a care home for older adults
- all adults aged 65 years and over
- persons aged 6 months to 64 years in a clinical risk group
-frontline health and social care workers
-persons aged 12 to 64 years who are household contacts of people with immunosuppression
-persons aged 16 to 64 years who are carers and staff working in care homes for older adults

Did you know we now offer the UTI service. Our pharmacist can assess you and if appropriate provide an antibiotic to treat the infection. This means you may not need to see your GP, we also take referrals from GP surgeries. If you pay for you prescription then normal prescription fee applies (£9.65) for those exempt then no charge is applicable. Call us or pop in for more information.

*******JOB OPPURTUNITY PART TIME PHARMACY DISPENSER 15 HOURS PER WEEK*******

We are expanding our team and are looking to recruit a qualified Level 2 dispenser to work 15 hours per week.

The proposed hours are:

Monday & Wednesday - 9.30am-5.30pm

This vacancy is on a permanent basis, however is conditional upon successfully completing the probationary period of 3 months.

You will dispense items to customers, whilst maintaining customer records and providing excellent customer service. Your main duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

Good customer service with customers and surgeries
Serving customers
Dispensing weekly MDS trays
Maintain shop cleanliness
Date Checking

To be considered for this position you must have a strong customer focus and previous customer service experience. In addition, you must possess the following key skills and qualifications:

- Data entry skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work towards deadlines
- Good time-management skills
- Selling to customer needs
- Dependability

rate of pay dependent on experience and qualifications up to £9 per hour
