Christmas Raffle 🎄

Park View Care Home have some wonderful prizes up for grabs in their Christmas Raffle including a Heron’s voucher, alcohol and chocolates. 🎅🏼

Tickets are £1.00 per strip and can be purchased directly from the home.

All proceeds will go towards activities for the residents.

The raffle will be drawn on 19th December 2025. 🎅🏼🎄🍁

Shout Out to St Martins Care!🎉

We love delivering Seated Dance, Mindful Movement, and Physical Activity Games every week across all St Martin’s Care homes, from Newcastle to Guisborough!

It’s amazing to see care homes being proactive about their residents’ health, helping them stay mobile for longer while boosting mental health and social wellbeing.

We’re proud to have worked with St Martin’s for several years, including training some of their care staff through our Laughter Yoga courses via our training branch ActivCare Training, helping staff bring more fun and wellbeing into daily care.

St Martins Care is proud to support the next cohort of North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust apprenticeship paramedics on placement across our six care homes!

This initiative has ensured every trainee paramedic within the NEAS apprenticeship programme spends meaningful time in a social care setting, gaining valuable experience and building a deeper understanding of our sector.

Remembrance Day

Today, we paused to remember and honour all those who have served and sacrificed in the Armed Forces — past and present.

We take this moment to reflect on their courage, their dedication, and the freedoms they helped secure.

At 11am we joined the nation in observing a two-minute silence to remember them. 🍁
