Yielding” to others doesn’t come naturally—it takes wisdom from above!
It's a concept frequently used in the practice of Tai Chi.
But what is yielding?
Well, like any responsible teacher, I asked Google🤔:
--> to give way to pressure or influence : submit to urging, persuasion, or entreaty. 2. : to give up and cease resistance or contention : submit, succumb. facing an enemy who would not yield.
To say yielding takes wisdom from above assumes it's a positive attribute, but what is your take on yielding to others? Definitely the natural reaction is to go against the external pressure or force. We don't need much imagination to know the outcome.
The stronger force or pressure wins, the weaker force will break. Tai Chi principles ask practitioners to yield, that is, don't go against the force. This can also apply to how we deal with life, don't you think? Yielding can save you from breaking and ensures you will have a better outcome.
I have made a video regarding yielding as a much better, a correct way in dealing with external force or pressure. This is Wendy from Tai Chi the Way of Life. Thank you for watching. If you like what you see, please subscribe to my YouTube channel. 🙂🙂🙂❤️❤️❤️🎈🎈🎈
