Therapy at Hand was established by Helen Gainford in March 2003. A variety of holistic & complimentary therapies available from sports/remedial massage to reflexology & hopi ear candling. I offer Eve Taylor facials and waxing. Therapy at Hand is based within Polished in Swalwell, across the road from Torq garage with plenty of parking behind Maguires fish & chip shop.

We can do hard things!!!
Back in March I said I would never run another ultra, when I was told about this one I was tempted to see what I could do after consistently strength training at . Chuffed to say it’s paid off with getting under 4 hours marathon which was my goal today & under 5 hours 50k, around 30 minutes knocked off both. First time I’ve ran with someone all the way & if it wasn’t for I’d have walked some of the hills towards the end but we kept pace & absolutely smashed it with her doing her first 50k.
On an absolute high now!!! It’s amazing what our minds & bodies can do when we set our minds to it!!! Oh & I wore my new adidas trainers
