We’re delighted to share that we raised £330.80 at our Christmas Fair & Party! 🥳

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, bought from our stalls, joined in the games and supported our raffle. Your kindness and generosity mean so much to us and our residents.

All money raised will go towards our Residents’ Fund, helping us to provide extra treats, activities and special moments throughout the year. ❤️

We have sent some to Alaska, Birmingham, Aberdeen, Austria and several to different states in the mainland USA. We have enjoyed reading where people are from.

On Wednesday we are honoured to be hosting a very special event at Ponteland Manor 💙

Tynedale Hospice at Home will be holding their Light up a Life Service here on Wednesday 10th December at 2pm – a chance to come together, remember loved ones and take a quiet moment of reflection in the run up to Christmas.

After the service, we’ll be sharing a festive afternoon of cheese, wine and seasonal treats.

Families, friends and members of the community are all warmly welcome to join us for this meaningful and comforting occasion. 🌟

This afternoon we held our annual Christmas party! 🎄✨

We had a wonderful time celebrating together with lots of delicious homemade food from our head chef Gary, festive games and, of course, our famous raffle! 🎁

A huge thank you to everyone who helped, donated and joined us for the fun – we really appreciate your support. All proceeds raised will go towards our Residents’ Fund, helping us to create even more special moments.

This morning we enjoyed a talk on Christmas Around Europe. We learnt about some different traditions and legends about Christmas from all across Europe. We also tried some delicacies from the countries, which were delicious!! We found it was good to be brought up in England as in some parts of Europe, if you were bad you could be whipped or even eaten!
At the end we opened some cards that people from across the world have sent us. They were from The USA, Scotland, Kent and Austria! We were over the moon and some of the residents said how deeply moved they were that people took the time to send them a card. So we want to send a big thank you for the 7 cards we have received so far from the Christmas card exchange. It was a real treat to open cards and see the stamps and designs from other parts of the world. 🎄🌎🌍🌏 😊 THANK YOU

We’ve spent this afternoon making some more beautiful handmade book angels ready for our Christmas Fair this Saturday 🎄💛

Each one is crafted with care by our residents and they look absolutely magical on display. We can’t wait to share them with everyone this weekend — please pop by, say hello, and take a little angel home with you!
