This week is Cervical Cancer Awareness Week, a chance to raise awareness of the disease, screening and HPV vaccination. Our Medical Science Liaison has written an article about how HPV can cause cancer, the significance of different HPV subtypes in the development of cervical cancer, and the importance of cervical screening as one intervention to reduce new cases and deaths from the disease.
