Are you experiencing pain in the foot when you walk or run?
Runners and walkers are always surprised when their foot or toe pain is either greatly reduced or disappears after a sports massage.
Tight calf and shin muscles can be the cause of pain in the foot. High volumes of use without a bit of self care, such as the appropriate recovery, rest, and strength and mobility work, can lead to issues in the foot.
It doesn't have to be down to whether you over or under pronate, it can be as simple as activating the foot, so that it functions properly.
Even changing footwear can be a factor which increases discomfort, I see this annually as people switch from summer flats into winter ankle restricting boots and vice versa.
