On Mental Health Awareness Day I wanted to share for me, what makes Yoga in Harmony so special, is that some of the most overlooked benefits of practising yoga are ultimately enhanced by this beautiful addition of live improvised music. It’s easy to tick the boxes of how a class can make you feel physically, but live music helps bring everything together into a whole new level of presence. Live music is known to synchronise the brain waves of the audience, enhancing the feeling of unity & connection, creating a deeper sense of community with those sharing the experience. In a world where we are often distracted, & are less connected than ever, Yoga in Harmony offers a unique experience, a pause, & an opportunity to embody freedom in motion. I can’t wait to lead this event at the Glasshouse soon. Tickets are now available for Saturday the 18th of October where I will be guiding you alongside Ian Sankey. His trombone carries a mellow, golden tone – smooth phrases, rich low notes, and a breath that seems to linger in the air. It’s music that settles the room in calm, wrapping movement in sound and space. Link in bio to book.
