E3design Ltd This strengthens our initial design proposals, giving the products we design the best possible chance to make it to market with the original vision intact.

As an Industrial design consultancy, E3 Design have a passion for user driven design and believe our key offering is our ability to implement our technical knowledge early into the design process. We have an innovative and creative design team with a proven record of delivering products. Our designers have specialist skills in product/industrial design and development, with particular skills in design for plastic injection moulding and high volume manufacture. Additionally we have developed specialist design skills in plastic mechanisms and drinking fluid dispensing applications

Our team is currently 6 full-time design employees, not including admin staff, students or the financial director. While all our designers have their own particular skills and strengths, all are very capable throughout our process from concept generation through to DFM. E3design has a wealth of experience in Consumer Product, Structural Packaging, Medical, Lighting, Industrial, DFM and even Fashion, this variety of experience allows us to better inform all of our work while still maintaining fresh and creative ideas.

We have an exciting opportunity to take part in an innovation focus group in partnership with Newcastle Hospitals and THRIVE! 💬

The workshop is in Newcastle City Centre in September 2026 to listen directly to people with lived experience of stoma care. We want to hear about the challenges, routines and tips of those who either have a stoma or those who support people with it.

Our aim is to identify gaps in the support, products and information available to enhance the lives of patients by making their routines more comfortable and efficient.☺️

This week Peter Angus and THRIVE. travelled down to Llandrindod and Bangor to present our 'Inspired by Nature' healthcare space design. 🌳

It’s always a pleasure to connect with those who attend these sessions. The conversations and insights we gain are so valuable to help shape and strengthen the direction of this project.

Last week our Junior Designer, Hannah Dolman, travelled down to Carmarthen and Cardiff in Wales to present E3Design's healthcare pod design.

She found it extremely valuable by hearing people's personal experiences working in healthcare, receiving treatment themselves and all the issues they faced along the way.

We feel like we have made huge progress within this project after gaining so many inspiring ideas and making connections with people who would help this project grow. Thank you so much to everyone who ran or attended the sessions at Trinity Saint David and Techniquest!

When she is not skiing or rowing down the Tyne, she is a multi-faceted and extremely talented Engineer who is active and well respected in the industry.

Elizabeth has been supporting us for the past few months with clients both old and new. We're always confident for her to represent us at networking events where her organisational skills and professionalism never go unnoticed. When she's not keeping our clients happy by bringing their ideas into reality, she's feeding us all with her fabulous bakes. (Special mention to the cheese twists!) 👩‍🍳

Hannah has been doing amazing work this year, we're particularly grateful for all her hard work in taking our intern under her wing and showing them everything she's learned since she was an intern herself. Every day she shows growth and a unique personality that keeps us all entertained. We can't wait to watch you flourish in your career.

Lizzie Morrison is one of our Designers.
This year she's risen to multiple new challenges and still finds time to distract us in the office when she checks up on who is up for adoption at the local animal shelters. 😺 🐶

Lizzie has started to work on her CEng with the Institute of Engineering Designers and we're looking forward to seeing her achieve this in the near future. We all enjoy her fun loving personality and that combined with her intelligence and skill makes her a pleasure to work with.

Today marks the end of our first official week in our BRAND NEW OFFICE! 🏚️ 🥳

There has been lots of hard work going on behind the scenes on top of our usual day to day projects, but we're nearly there.

We celebrated with some pizzas from our new neighbours at Liosi's Sicilian Cafe Bar 🍕 and of course it wouldn't be a proper celebration without some of our favourite cakes from the amazing The Couple That Bakes. 🧁

Yesterday we popped over to the Empack / Packaging Innovations show at the NEC Birmingham. Brilliant show as always.

What stood out the most? Glass is definitely making a comeback. Honestly, it was the most glass we’ve seen at this event. 🔎

There was also a lot of interesting work happening with impregnated paper and card, which seems to be gaining real traction. Some great insight into where packaging trends are heading. 👋
