E3design Ltd This strengthens our initial design proposals, giving the products we design the best possible chance to make it to market with the original vision intact.

As an Industrial design consultancy, E3 Design have a passion for user driven design and believe our key offering is our ability to implement our technical knowledge early into the design process. We have an innovative and creative design team with a proven record of delivering products. Our designers have specialist skills in product/industrial design and development, with particular skills in design for plastic injection moulding and high volume manufacture. Additionally we have developed specialist design skills in plastic mechanisms and drinking fluid dispensing applications

Our team is currently 6 full-time design employees, not including admin staff, students or the financial director. While all our designers have their own particular skills and strengths, all are very capable throughout our process from concept generation through to DFM. E3design has a wealth of experience in Consumer Product, Structural Packaging, Medical, Lighting, Industrial, DFM and even Fashion, this variety of experience allows us to better inform all of our work while still maintaining fresh and creative ideas.

Today marks the end of our first official week in our BRAND NEW OFFICE! 🏚️ 🥳

There has been lots of hard work going on behind the scenes on top of our usual day to day projects, but we're nearly there.

We celebrated with some pizzas from our new neighbours at Liosi's Sicilian Cafe Bar 🍕 and of course it wouldn't be a proper celebration without some of our favourite cakes from the amazing The Couple That Bakes. 🧁

Yesterday we popped over to the Empack / Packaging Innovations show at the NEC Birmingham. Brilliant show as always.

What stood out the most? Glass is definitely making a comeback. Honestly, it was the most glass we’ve seen at this event. 🔎

There was also a lot of interesting work happening with impregnated paper and card, which seems to be gaining real traction. Some great insight into where packaging trends are heading. 👋

Last Thursday we attended The Coffee and Connections event hosted by the North East Chamber of Commerce. It was a great event to connect with local businesses and share E3Design’s capabilities of supporting clients from concept design through to manufacture.

The NECC team were on hand to explain about the various groups and plentiful events around the region.

The venue caused quite a stir – the 100+ attendees enjoyed visiting the Hotel Gotham Newcastle and we enjoyed a tour of their facilities, learning about how they’ve changed the former police and fire station into a hotel, restaurant and events space in central Newcastle.

Fat Scran Friday did not disappoint this month. We took a trip allllll the way downstairs to our favourite place, Knights by the Burn.

Gavin Knight absolutely spoiled us with special steak and ale pies made just for the occasion, much needed on a grey January afternoon.🥧

Not a crumb survived, thanks so much!😋
