As we know it's Emotional Wellness month... it's still not too late to practice something potentially new to you & hopefully bring about a new healthy routine. I'd like to help people focus on meditation 🧘‍♀️ 🧘‍♂️ as it's the perfect way to raise your higher consciousness. Through regular practice you will be able to achieve a deeper sense of inner peace, gain feelings of harmony and being more centered.

A very simple practice:
Find a quiet place
Sit upright to allow energy to flow up the spine
Shoulders & face relaxed
Hands placed in lap
Chin tilted slightly downwards
Jaw relaxed with a space between upper & lower teeth and tip of tongue resting on the roof of your mouth

Relax, take a deep breath in & out and let any tensions go.
Try to breathe in through the nostrils & out of the mouth.
Once your breathing is rhythmic & relaxed, put your attention on your mind.
You may notice how distracted your mind is.
Observe the breath. The mental chatter will slow.
Every time you witness a thought, let it gently go & return your focus back on your breathe.
Be gentle with yourself & try this practice for a few minutes daily. You can work up to 15 minutes.

Other benefits of meditation are gaining fresh new oxygen, restoring your body & increasing the sense of peace that you feel thereafter.

Give it a try 😊 xx
