We had some amazing cakes donated for our coffee morning. One was a particular hit and several of the staff would like the recipe. It was an Apple Crumble Cake and had amaretto biscuits in. No idea who the lovely lady was who brought it in along with some choc brownies, but if you recognise this as you, please would you share the recipe. Our staff members will add some funds to Macmillan if you are happy to share.
Cakes still being sold at todays flu clinic so a final total will be announced next week. 🙂

FLU & COVID Vaccination clinic Saturday 4th Oct.
*Tomorrow is our first clinic of the season. There are five clinicians vaccinating so footfall will be busy. Therefore we are grateful to you for your patience if there are any delays to your appointment time.
*We will have two receptionists booking in to keep the queue moving.
*To avoid a backlog it would be helpful if you could remove your coat before you are called for your appointment if you are warm enough to do so.
***Please take care in and around the carpark.
We have appealled for drivers to use the correct entrance and exit, after a recent incident involving a pedestrian, but many drivers still choose to come in via the Exit.
***We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.
*Hopefully the rain will hold off and the wind will not be too strong.

Thank you to everyone who turned out on an appalling day to support our Macmillan coffee morning.
We do have some part cakes and buns left. They have been clingwapped on paper plates and will be available at the back door after your flu jab tomorrow for donations. Thank you so much for all the generosity shown today.
Cancer has in some way affected most people at some time in their lives. Macmillan provide support in so many ways and we are so blessed to have such an amazing charity.

We are excited to again be hosting a coffee morning this year raising funds for the amazing Macmillan Cancer Support charity.
We would be most grateful to anyone who would like to kindly donate a cake for our table, whether home made or shop brought. Please do come along and join us for a cuppa and a piece of cake.
Cakes will also be available to "buy" for a donation. If you are unable to stop and sip why not take some home with you.
With your support we look forward to raising as much as we can for this amazing charity.

ALERT: Pedestrian almost run over.
We implore the users of our car park to please Enter AND Exit via the correct route.
Today a pedestrian had an extremely near miss due to a vehicle being driven in through our Exit.
Only last week two vehicles almost collided because of a car coming in through the exit.
Please respect the safety of others and enter the premises via the Entrance. The Exit is clearly marked.

A reminder that the surgery will be closed on the afternoon of Thursday 22nd May from 12 noon for staff training. NHS 111 will be taking calls on our behalf for all urgent problems. We will be open as usual on Friday. Please ensure pre ordered medication is collected in advance of the shutdown to ensure you have sufficient medication.

Computer Network system failure 12 May 11.15am update .
Systems are again intermittently operational, but are running incredibly slowly. Please bear with us as phone conversations are taking longer whilst waiting for the computers to process each instruction. Thank you

COMPUTER & PHONE SYSTEM FAILURE TODAY

This morning we are experiencing a failure of our computer system relating to internet issues. Our phone system has limited access. This is a Suffolk wide issue for GP Surgeries and IT departments are working at pace to resolve the problem.
This means we are unable to make appointments or access our patient database.
We will update here when the problem is fully resolved, but in the meantime our team are answering the phone with the above information as they are otherwise unable to assist.
The dispensary are also unable to access systems so other than handing out pre ordered medication are limited in their ability to process their workload. Please bear with them. Hopefully the loss of systems will be as brief as possible

We will update here as soon as there is progress with a fix

Our first flu clinic of the season is under way this morning.

Pre booked appointments only.

To help with the flow and to avoid congestion please do not arrive too early and please park with consideration to our neighbours.

Please follow the signage to enter the car park by the correct Entrance.

There is also guidance as you enter the building.

Removing your outer layers on arrival will also be helpful for our nursing team.

We look forward to seeing you during the morning.
