Our practice is recognised for Post Graduate Training which means we train fully qualified Doctors who want to become General Practitioners.

Regarding your covid booster appointment:

Please ensure that you attend the surgery on your allocated date and correct time.

A significant number of patients have been attending their appointments earlier than the time they have been allocated which has resulted in very large queues.

Going forward, we will be unable to accommodate anyone who arrives early for their appointment.

If you are unable to make your appointment time, please contact the surgery and we will rebook this for you.

We would like to inform you that the surgery will be closed for staff training between 1pm and 6.30pm tomorrow, Wednesday 9th October 2024.

There will be emergency cover in place for those that have a medical emergency which cannot wait until we open again at 8am Thursday morning.

There will be an event taking place on 26th September at Rodney Parade relating to men's mental health and wellbeing. There is also a link to register for the event if interested.

The work has been funded from the WG Innovation Fund, and the pilot project is targeted at the local rugby community. The pilot project is being coordinated by Sheree Williams from 4Minds, a local mental health charity who is working alongside another mental health charity: Tidy Butt.

There will be over 30 organisations in attendance during the Event and there will be some excellent speakers. A real opportunity to make a difference in this priority area.

This is a reminder that the surgery will not be open on Monday 26th August due to the bank holiday. If you do need medical treatment whilst we are closed, it may be worth familiarising yourself with the relevant telephone numbers along with all the pharmacies that are open.

Please also remember to order your prescription on time. Our turnaround is 48 hours so please ensure you are ordering your medication before you are due to run out.
