Well done to our Cadet Sargeant Louise who had the privilege of joining the National Parade at the Cenotaph

We’re so proud of Louise, one of our outstanding cadets, who had the incredible honour of representing St John Ambulance at the National Service of Remembrance today at the Cenotaph in London.

Standing alongside members of the Armed Forces, veterans and other youth organisations, Louise represented not just our county but the dedication and compassion that define all St John volunteers.

It’s moments like these that remind us of the importance of service, remembrance and community, values at the heart of everything we do.

Well done, Louise. You’ve made us all proud. 💚

Today St John ambulance units all over the country joined the rest of the population in remembering those who fought and cared for what we have today not just from the two world wars but those who have been fighting since sometimes not coming home, the island team feel it’s our solemn duty to be there and support this young and old as a mark of respect

And not forgetting our isle of Wight Cadet Sargeant who had the privilege of Joining the National Parade at the Cenotaph

Good evening or good morning as it’s just after midnight this evening the team has been supporting the wider St John family down in Lewis for their bonfire/firework night our feet have disowned us and we all want bed, I hope everyone had a safe bonfire night

Remember BLACK before going on Parade. We will be in Newport once again this Remembrance Sunday looking after the Public and paying our own respects with our Youth team laying a wreath.

Recognising whether a burn is superficial, partial thickness, or full thickness can help you provide the right first aid promptly. 💥

Day 2 of the event at the The Isle of Wight Bus Museum and we're back to assist the public and offer demonstrations on the use of a defibrillator. Why not pop along and say hi and ride a vintage bus in the process
