Vitamin D
Did you know between October and April in the UK the sun is so weak you cannot make any vitamin D?
This means that during the winter, we should all consider supplementing with vitamin D, which is crucial for immunity as well as bone health.
The easy way to know if you have the potential to make vitamin D is to check your shadow; if its longer than you are then you aren't making any vitamin D
Generally in the months between April and October you have the potential to make vitamin D but still only between approximately 11AM - 4PM.
