This week, the College of Optometrists and RAC continued our campaign to raise awareness of the impact of on drivers’ vision as a key road safety concern.

The latest research found:
• 63% of all drivers say they are subjected to from vehicles behind that they can’t avoid, of which 14% say it happens regularly
• a third of those affected by dazzle (33%) feel less safe when driving at night
• a quarter (25%) say it knocks their confidence behind the wheel

Our advice for drivers was featured across UK media, with highlights including:

That’s a wrap for Cornealius the Eye Elf! 👀
He's packed his tiny suitcase and is heading back to the North Pole to help Father Christmas get ready for the big day!
He’s had a brilliant time causing a little mischief, sharing eye-care tips and spreading festive cheer. Thank you for following his adventures!

We’re open today (Monday 22nd December) from 9am–1pm, then we're closed from tomorrow (23rd December) over Christmas and New Year.
