Need a bit of extra support? The Community Gateway Helpline is here to help.

If you (or someone you know) in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly are finding things tough – with day-to-day tasks, money worries, coming home from hospital, loneliness or your wellbeing – the Community Gateway team can help you find the right voluntary and community support.

A partnership of 50+ local voluntary organisations works with NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly ICB and Cornwall Council to provide:

➡️ Connections to community groups and activities
➡️ Links to mental health and wellbeing support
➡️Winter support like hot food and warm, welcoming spaces

A pharmacy can help with a wide range of minor illness, and provide all sorts of services and advice. Most now offer the Pharmacy First service which provides treatment for 7 common conditions, without the need for a GP appointment.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men.
Prostate cancer usually develops slowly, so there may be no signs for many years.
👴🏾However, the chances of developing prostate cancer increase as you get older. Most cases develop in men aged 50 or older and prostate cancer is more common in black men.
