⭐️"HOW MUCH?"⭐️

I'm gonna cut right to the chase - I know the price puts you off! You email me so keen and full of enthusiasm and then I reply with the all the information on my course, but your eyes scan straight down to the find the price, and suddenly your keen enthusiasm to participate on an amazing course that could, quite literally, change your life has all of a sudden disappeared and you're questioning if you 'really' need it after all! I get it - I was you!!

14 years ago I did the same! The thought of trying to find 'extra' for a Hypnobirthing course when we were already spending out on so much for our new baby already seemed daunting! But, we jigged things around, because we saw the importance of it and we made it work... and you know what, it was the best decision I EVER MADE! It was a complete game changer! In all my 12 years of teaching Hypnobirthing I have never had a single person tell me that it wasn't worth the investment! Not one!

We know that anything in this world that is good quality comes at a price. ⭐THINKING OF DOING A HYPNOBIRTHING COURSE WITH ME?⭐

Firstly, I'm gonna be honest, because we all know... There are plenty of different ways to do hypnobirthing.
You could read a book, you could take a prerecorded course, you could find an instructor (there’s plenty of us out there.)

And if you really wanted to I’m sure you could gather bits and bobs for free from YouTube.

Reading my posts, following my account and listening to what I’ve got to say.

People don’t take my hypnobirthing course for the sake of it. There’s a reason they pick ME to guide them on this pretty significant journey!

⭐️RECLAIMED POWER⭐️

I supported a Doula client in the early hours of Tuesday morning, as she roared her baby into the world. It was an honour and a privilege to witness.
After birthing her first baby in hospital, labouring for many hours, having many interventions which resulted in an emergency caesarean, this amazing women decided to do things differently second time around.

She planned a VBAC (vaginal birth after caesarean) hired a Doula, learnt hypnobirthing techniques, learnt about birth physiology, planned a home birth, educated her birth partner, stood firm in her preferences for her birth choices (despite a fair few 'scary' consultant meetings and 'birthing outside of guidelines'). Basically SHE TOOK BACK HER POWER!

I watched in awe as she moved with instinct in the water, she knew what she needed and wanted, and was confident to ask for it. She used the power of her voice and moaned and roared and hummed and screamed. She breathed deeply. She surrendered and she trusted herself. Her baby was born with power and intensity in to water, before the midwives managed to get there. No checks, no pain relief, no monitoring, no examinations. Just birth in its truest and most animalistic form.
What an absolute goddess ✨️💖🪷

Positive birth comes in many shapes and sizes, and everyones experience is different and valid. But we need to know that birth can be powerful, beautiful, exciting, positive and magical.

⭐️ Lighten Up ⭐️

Situated in Nansledan, Nicole and JG (previous Hypnobirthing clients 🙌🏼) have developed the most blissful space to relax, rejuvenate, and repair. It's the ultimate self care experience and is my new favourite place to go as a post Doula birth treat to myself!

As a Doula, self care is a huge priority of mine. Always wanting to make sure I'm back to my A game quickly after each birth I support, so that I'm able to give my next clients 100%.

Whilst I was there, I was also thinking about how amazing that massage chair would feel in the postpartum period and how the full body red light therapy would support and promote post birth recovery.

But, to be honest, there doesn't need to be a reason or an excuse to pay Lighten Up a visit. You absolutely deserve to feel good, and these amazing, cutting-edge facilities can help you feel just that!
