⭐THINKING OF DOING A HYPNOBIRTHING COURSE WITH ME?⭐

Firstly, I'm gonna be honest, because we all know... There are plenty of different ways to do hypnobirthing.
You could read a book, you could take a prerecorded course, you could find an instructor (there’s plenty of us out there.)

And if you really wanted to I’m sure you could gather bits and bobs for free from YouTube.

However, you are here.
Reading my posts, following my account and listening to what I’ve got to say.

People don’t take my hypnobirthing course for the sake of it. There’s a reason they pick ME to guide them on this pretty significant journey!

Am I the cheapest option? No.

Am I the option that is going to fill you with confidence and the ability to take control of your birth like an utter badass?
Yes!

Am I going to ensure you feel like the strong confident human that you are!

The people I work with - my clients, they don’t do my course thinking I'm going to tell them you’ll open up like a flower and your baby with glide out.

Labour is a delicate dance between body, mind, and hormones — and the environment you’re in has everything to do with how that dance flows.

When we protect the things labour loves — safety, trust, calm, oxytocin, dimmed lights, and familiar voices — birth unfolds more smoothly and comfortably.

But when we add in the things labour loathes — bright lights, loud noises, rushing, fear, or poor communication — the body’s natural rhythm can stall.

Whether you’re birthing at home, in a birth centre, or in hospital, you can create an environment that works with your body, not against it. Remember , your birth space matters — more than most people realise!

Not saying that Chat GPT always gets it right (clearly, cause I've been in this game 12 years not 8!) but it's pretty spot on with its conclusion of Cornwall Hypnobirthing's antenatal course.

⭐️RECLAIMED POWER⭐️

I supported a Doula client in the early hours of Tuesday morning, as she roared her baby into the world. It was an honour and a privilege to witness.
After birthing her first baby in hospital, labouring for many hours, having many interventions which resulted in an emergency caesarean, this amazing women decided to do things differently second time around.

She planned a VBAC (vaginal birth after caesarean) hired a Doula, learnt hypnobirthing techniques, learnt about birth physiology, planned a home birth, educated her birth partner, stood firm in her preferences for her birth choices (despite a fair few 'scary' consultant meetings and 'birthing outside of guidelines'). Basically SHE TOOK BACK HER POWER!

I watched in awe as she moved with instinct in the water, she knew what she needed and wanted, and was confident to ask for it. She used the power of her voice and moaned and roared and hummed and screamed. She breathed deeply. She surrendered and she trusted herself. Her baby was born with power and intensity in to water, before the midwives managed to get there. No checks, no pain relief, no monitoring, no examinations. Just birth in its truest and most animalistic form.
What an absolute goddess ✨️💖🪷

Positive birth comes in many shapes and sizes, and everyones experience is different and valid. But we need to know that birth can be powerful, beautiful, exciting, positive and magical.

⭐️ Lighten Up ⭐️

Situated in Nansledan, Nicole and JG (previous Hypnobirthing clients 🙌🏼) have developed the most blissful space to relax, rejuvenate, and repair. It's the ultimate self care experience and is my new favourite place to go as a post Doula birth treat to myself!

As a Doula, self care is a huge priority of mine. Always wanting to make sure I'm back to my A game quickly after each birth I support, so that I'm able to give my next clients 100%.

Whilst I was there, I was also thinking about how amazing that massage chair would feel in the postpartum period and how the full body red light therapy would support and promote post birth recovery.

But, to be honest, there doesn't need to be a reason or an excuse to pay Lighten Up a visit. You absolutely deserve to feel good, and these amazing, cutting-edge facilities can help you feel just that!
