Month’s Mind Acknowledgement Notice for the late Margaret Gilmore.
The sons and daughters of the late Margaret Gilmore; Rita, Colm, Jim, Teresa, Winnie, Emmett, Angela, PJ, Christine, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and entire family circle wish to express our profound gratitude, appreciation and welcome support to all those who sympathised with us during our recent sad, heartbreaking and sudden bereavement.
Thanks to everyone who called at the family home, sent Mass offerings, and messages of sympathy, letters, texts, floral tributes, brought food, and to all the substantial numerous people who attended the wake and funeral. Your presence at this time was greatly appreciated and aided us in our time of intense, unexpected loss of our precious
mum.
Sincere thanks are also extended to the emergency services personnel who attended dear mother.
We especially wish to thank Fr Charlie Byrne PP, who celebrated mum’s beautiful Requiem Mass so eloquently and respectively and for all his numerous visits to mum over the past number of years and his welcome words of comfort and prayers to us her family during this particularly traumatic time.
Our gratitude is also extended to Canon Frank Kearney, Monsignor John Clark and Canon John Kearney for their attendance and prayers during mum’s wake. Thanks also to Mrs Eileen Mooney and the Clonduff Parish Choir for their beautiful singing and music which greatly enhanced mum’s Funeral Mass.
We are also extending our thanks to Eugene and Pauline Hughes, who provided the field that enabled the facility of car parking and to Peter Fitzpatrick Quarry, Leod, for preparing the field. Also, our appreciation to all who helped direct the vast amount of traffic.
Thanks to Des McNeil our Sacristan, for helping at the Funeral Mass and to the Eucharistic Ministers.
Grateful appreciation to Marian Brannigan for the use of the INF Hall and supplying chairs and catering equipment and to Hugh Murray and staff from Diamonds Restaurant for the excellent meal after mother’s funeral.
We also wish to thank Doctors Megaw and Irwin of Rathfriland Surgery for their unwavering attention and medical advice to mum over the years and to Paddy and staff of Hilltown Pharmacy for their compassion and professionalism.
Appreciation to St John’s GAC, Drumnaquoile for their catering utensils.
Sincere and profound gratitude and appreciation to Eugene, Dympna and Paul Lively from Peter Doran Funeral Directors, for the dignified, highly respectful and meticulous personal manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements and preparing the grave.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation at this extremely difficult time.
Margarets Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St John the Evangelist Church, Ballymaghery, Hilltown, on Sunday 16 November at 11.30am.
