Are you a parent/carer of an adolescent with an autism diagnosis and looking to develop strategies to cope, manage stress, and navigate everyday challenges?

Or are you a parent/carer experiencing concerns around violent behaviour, or an adolescent who may be attempting to coerce, control, or dominate within the family?

The Southern Health and Social Care Trust is offering two supportive programmes designed specifically to help parents in these situations.

Parents/Carers are invited to register their interest for one or both programmes.

If you or a child are unwell, with an injury or illness which requires urgent treatment but is not immediately life threatening, please use our Phone First service before attending our Emergency Departments or Minor Injuries Unit. ☎️ Call 0300 123 3 111 between 9am and 9pm Monday to Friday.

Flu is circulating in our community and adding to already high levels of demand for care. Using Phone First helps you get the right support, in the right place, as quickly as possible.
For everyday health concerns, you can get fast advice and treatment from your local pharmacist through the Pharmacy First service - no need to wait for a GP appointment.

Nasal flu vaccination clinics will take place on Wednesday (17th) and Thursday (18th December) in the following areas:

*Lurgan school Nursing office - The bungalow, Lurgan Hospital site 10am - 12pm and 3pm-5pm

*Armagh school nursing office, St Luke's Hospital site 10am - 12pm and 3pm - 5pm

This vaccination session is open to all school aged children from p1 to Year 12 (inclusive) who have not already received the flu vaccine this year.

No appointment required.

The latest respiratory report shows influenza activity has again increased across all surveillance indicators.

Flu is spreading, you can help stop the spread by:
• Washing your hands regularly
• Catching coughs and sneezes in a tissue
• Minimising contact with others
• Getting vaccinated if you are eligible
