Our Mum’s Support Group offers a compassionate and understanding space for mothers who have lost a child to su***de. It’s a place to share, to connect with others who truly understand, or simply to sit in the comfort of a supportive environment.

*** NOTICE OF BUILDING WORKS ***
We would like to inform you all that building work to improve and expand the Health Centre will begin in approximately 2-3 weeks and will be expected to continue for 6-12 months.

During this time, car parking in the Health Centre grounds will be limited, so we kindly ask patients to plan ahead and consider alternative parking arrangements where possible.

Please be aware that there may be some noise or disruption within the building while the works are ongoing. All services will continue to operate as normal throughout this period.

We will do our very best to keep any inconvenience to a minimum and thank you for your patience and understanding.

All three GP surgeries in Rathfriland Health Centre now have a Senior Social Worker, Kellie O’Donnell as part of the team. Patients from any practice can now self refer. Please contact reception staff to book an appointment. Please see attached for more information on the type of support the Senior Social Worker can provide.

Falls are common for people aged 65 years and over. There are many reason why a person falls but it is often due to physical, environmental and medical risk factors. Falling is NOT an inevitable part of getting older.
📌one in three over 65's have at least one fall a year.
📌one fall doubles your chances of falling again

There are many things we can do to reduce our risk of falling.

We’re delighted to be welcoming Sarah Morton, Dietitian, for an informative and interactive workshop designed especially for parents and carers.
