Nowak (Newry/ Poland) died 30th December 2025. Dorota RIP. Daughter of Teresa Kolano and much-loved mother of Wiktoria and Nadia.

Her remains will repose in Charles Digney and Sons Funeral Home on Saturday from 11am to 12noon. Funeral service at 12noon followed by private cremation at a later time.

Deeply regretted by her sorrowing mother, daughters, family circle and friends.

Marley (née McParland) (Banbridge) died 28th December 2025 peacefully at her home. Jeanette RIP. Wife of Brendan and much-loved mother of Colin, Joanne, Charlene and Antoni. Sister of Rita (Leigh), Sean and the late Kathleen (McRoberts), James and Elizabeth (Cuthbert). Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.

Family home private please. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 12noon in St. Patrick’s Church, Loughbrickland. Bural afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

We the family of the late Fionnuala Hartigan wish to thank all those who supported us during our recent sad bereavement.

To all our family, friends and neighbours who paid their respects at the wake, sent messages of support, attended the funeral or offered support in any way: we truly appreciate it.

Our sincere thanks to the Newry Health Village, the nurses and doctors at the Cancer Centre, Belfast City Hospital and Evora Hospice in Newry for all their care and support to Fionnuala during her illness.

The funeral mass was a beautiful celebration of Fionnuala’s life, and we are forever grateful to those who helped make it such a fitting tribute to her. We wish to express our deep gratitude to Fr Patsy Mulholland for celebrating the funeral mass and providing her with great comfort during her illness.

To Terry, Seamus and Paula Rafferty for the beautiful music and to the soloists Tara Russell and Annamarie Boyle.

To all those who provided a guard of honour: St Patrick’s College, Banbridge, St Colman’s College, Newry, Sacred Heart Grammar School, St Mary’s High School, Our Lady’s Grammar School, St Nicholas’ Monastery NS, Dundalk, St Patrick’s PS, Hilltown and Ballyholland LGFA.

Special thanks to Ballyholland Harps for managing the traffic during the wake in such inclement conditions and for hosting the afters.

Thank you to the staff of Diamond’s Restaurant, Warrenpoint for the beautiful meal after the funeral mass.

Burns (née McArdle) died 26th December 2025 peacefully at Avilla Nursing Home, Bessbrook. Matilda (Tilly) RIP late of 14 Moninna Villas, Camlough Road, Bessbrook. Wife of the late Jimmy and much-loved mother of Jim, John, Patrick, Kieran, Mark and the late Anne (Bradley). Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.

Her remains will repose in Charles Digney and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Sugarhouse Quay, Newry, BT35 6HZ on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm each day. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11am in St. Malachy’s Church, Carrickcruppen. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

McCartan (Donaghcloney) died 20th December 2025 peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital. Philip Jnr. R.I.P. Son of Patricia and the late Philip. Brother of Paula (McIlwaine) and the late Peter. Sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

His remains will repose at his mother’s home, Ruston Lodge, 4 Monree Road, Donaghcloney, BT66 7LZ today, Monday from 4pm until 7pm. House private at all other times. Funeral mass will be celebrated tomorrow Tuesday at 12noon in St. Patrick’s Church, Dromore Street, Banbridge. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s cemetery, Dromore Road, Banbridge.

Beloved wife of the late John and much-loved mother of Kevin, Seana, Raymond and Ciaran. Sister of Ciaran, Leonard, Kathleen, Angela, Roisin and the late Derek, William and Raymond. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.

Her remains will repose at her home from 6pm until 9pm on Saturday and from 1pm until 9pm on Sunday. Requiem Mass on Monday at 10:30am in the Cathedral of Ss Patrick and Colman, Newry. Burial afterwards in Monkshill cemetery.

Her remains will repose at her home 28 Bronte Road Ballynaskeagh BT32 5BR on Saturday and Sunday. Removal on Monday for 10:30am funeral mass in St. Colman’s Church, Annaclone. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Wife of the late Francie and much loved mother of Paul, Adrian, Frances (Canavan) and Damian. Grandmother to Odhran, Siofra, Oran, Dara, Jack, Ben, Adam, Ceallagh, Erinn, Aislinn and Aoibh. Sister of Olive McCann and the late Owen. Mother in law to Dearbhail, Jacqueline, Orlaith and Declan. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.

Her remains will repose at her daughter Frances' home 4c, Old Road, Poyntzpass, Newry, BT35 6TQ from 2pm until 9pm on Friday and Saturday. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Sunday at 1pm in St. Mary’s Church, Barr. House private on Sunday morning please.

Husband of the late Marie and much loved father of Seamus, Siobhan, Fiona, Nuala, Roisin and Eithne. Brother of Mary (Murphy), Angeline (Sands), Celine (Feehan) and the late Noelle (Conway). Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

His remains will repose at his home 24, Carrowbane Road, Camlough, BT35 7HP on Friday and Saturday 3pm until 9pm and Sunday from1pm until 9pm. His remains will leave his home on Monday at 11.30am for 12.30pm funeral mass in St. Catherine’s Church, Dominic Street, Newry. Burial afterwards in St. Malachy’s Cemetery, Carrickcruppen.

His remains will repose at his home, 15A Rock Road from 7.30pm tonight (Monday) until 9pm, and tomorrow Tuesday from 1pm until 9pm. Parking and shuttle bus from McCarthys, 9 Rock Road, BT341PL. Access to Rock Road only via Turmore Road, and exit via Turmore Road only please. Requiem mass will take place in St. Colman’s Church Shinn on Wednesday at 11:30am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
