Newry Dominican are organising a Country & Western Carbaret evening starring Gavin Gribben & Band, Hugo Duncan and many other exciting acts this Thursday night!

Enjoy a fantastic night of live country music at the Canal Court Hotel & Spa, Newry, in support of Dominican Church, Newry restoration funds.

Headlining the evening is Gavin Gribben & Band, alongside a stellar lineup including Hugo Duncan, Leon, The Ennis Brothers, and Kevin Kearney. The night will be expertly hosted by MC Kevin McAllister.

Acknowledgement notice on behalf of the family of the late Edward McLoughlin R.I.P.

We, the family of the late Edward (Eddie) McLoughlin, wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised and called with us on our recent bereavement.

We are truly grateful for the kindness and generosity that we have been shown through messages, mass cards, phonecalls and the support of family, friends and neighbours. A special word of thanks to all who attended the funeral and helped us in any way during this difficult time.

Sincere thanks also to the clergy, especially Fr. Liam for the beautiful and personal funeral mass.

Heartfelt thanks to Lorraine and sons at Pouchers Funeral Directors. Your guidance, professionalism and support throughout was a great comfort in our time of need.

Anthony Francis Blair R.I.P.

11th of March 2026. Peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital.

Loving husband of Ann, son of Anthony and father of Olivia (Harrison) and Brendan.

Anthony will be reposing at his late home 4 O'Neill Avenue, Newry from 6:00pm until 10:00pm today (Thursday) and tomorrow Friday 10:00am until 10:00pm

House strictly private on Saturday morning when his Requiem Mass will be celebrated in the Church of The Assumption Drumalane at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Monkshill Cemetery.

Sorrowfully missed by his loving Wife, Father, Daughter, Son, Gandchildren, Sister Caroline, Son-in-law Clive and Daughter-in-law Kellie. His Sister's-in-law, Brother's-in-law, Nephews, and extended family circle.

Acknowledgement Notice on behalf of the family of the late Kerrie Cranney R.I.P.

We the family of the most amazing Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter and Sister, the late Kerrie Cranney wish to express our sincere heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised and supported us during our recent bereavement. Thank you to all who attended the wake and funeral.

We are truly grateful for the kindness and generosity that we have been shown through messages of sympathy, mass cards, flowers and donations in lieu.

The support of family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues has been vital at this time and we will be forever thankful for that support.

We would also like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and staff at daisy hill hospital for the care, kindness and compassion shown to Kerrie and our family.

Edward McLoughlin R.I.P.

16 Camlough Park, Bessbrook. 22nd February 2026.

Loving husband of Eilish and father of Paula , Stephen, Laura, and Lindsey, grandfather to Aimée, Kayleigh, Faye Ann, Jack, Niall, Saoirse, Senan & Sadie.

Edward will be reposing at home, 16 Camlough Park, Bessbrook. House strictly private today (Sunday) and Wednesday morning. Those wishing to pay their respects are welcome on Monday and Tuesday from 12.00pm until 9.00pm

Requiem will be celebrated at 12.00pm on Wednesday, Church of the Assumption, Drumalane. Private cremation afterwards.

Edward is sadly missed by his heart broken Wife, Daughter's, Son & Grandchildren. His Brother's Tony, Pete, Matt, Owen, Terry and John. Son-in-law John and Daughter-in-law Eimear. Also remembering his late Brother Tom R.I.P. and Sister Maura R.I.P. now reunited with him in heaven.

We are deeply grateful for the kindness shown through messages of sympathy, Mass cards, floral tributes, donations, phone calls, and the support of family, friends, neighbours, and colleagues. A special word of thanks to all who attended the funeral and helped us in any way during this difficult time.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Enhanced Care Unit at Daisy Hill Hospital for their exceptional care, kindness, and compassion shown to Vinny and to our family.

House strictly private this evening (Sunday). Kerrie will be reposing at her late residence tomorrow Monday and Tuesday morning until her Requiem Mass at 12.30pm in St Catherine's Newry Dominican. Burial afterwards in Monkshill Cemetery.

Armagh Road (Newry) and formally of Cedarwook Park, Dundalk. 12th January 2026. Peacefully at Daisy Hill Hospital, Newry, surround by his loving family.

Beloved husband of Regina and father of Devin and Ellis. Grandfather of Tommy. Son of Pacella (Solo) and Tommy Quigley. Brother of Martin, Damien and the late Mary R.I.P.

Reposing at his residence 9 Armagh Road, Newry, BT35 6DJ today (Tuesday) from 6.00pm and all-day Wednesday.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 11.30am in St Brigid’s Church, Kilcurry, burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Vinny will be very sadly missed by his wife, children, grandson, parents, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, future daughter-in-law, godchild, nephews, nieces, extended family circle and friends.

Beloved brother of Anna and brother-in-law of Derek (Hanna). Much loved uncle of Lisa, Paul and Jacqueline.

Service will take place 12 noon, Saturday 27th December at 14 Main Street Bessbrook with private burial afterwards in Monkshill Municipal Cemetery.

Ronald will be lovingly remembered by his sister, brother-in-law his niece's. nephew, wider family circle and friends.
