A big thankyou to these lovely laddies who came up to Rockfield Care Home to sing Newry U3A. They took us to many countries singing great fun. And to Carmel for the lovely Apple tart and tray bakes for later. Much apprecated delish 😘

Congratulations 🎊 to Nicky Vim and Virginia. On the 5 years awards today. All excellent in each field they work in. Each received there gifts and awards from the Manager this morning.

Our condolences to all Rev. Deacon Brendan MC Allister's. Family. We have fond memories of the Mc Allister family especially on Christmas morning when they came up to sing it was so beautiful. Our Prayers are with you all Elizabeth.🙏

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our brother in Christ, Rev. Deacon Brendan McAllister. Archbishop Eamon, all the clergy, and the people of the diocese are united in prayer for Brendan, his wife Elizabeth, his daughter Anna, sons Joseph and Tom, grandchildren Dara, Oisín and Shaan, his sisters Marie and Sheila, brothers Kevin and Seamus and all the family. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen. Brendan is photographed here with Canon Francis Brown and Deacon Carlos as he assisted during Mass for the first time in Newry Cathedral earlier this year.
