Not everything that claims to be microneedling actually is and this is a must-read. 💭

In the skincare world, clever marketing is everywhere. Treatments labelled as “needle-free microneedling,” “cell regeneration systems,” or even “RF microneedling” might sound advanced but they’re not true microneedling.

Here’s why:
🔹 RF microneedling uses heat (radiofrequency energy) to create a thermal injury, which can actually tighten or contract collagen.
🔹 Real microneedling works through mechanical micro-channels, triggering the skin’s own healing cascade to rebuild and strengthen collagen naturally without heat or destruction.

At best, the “needle-free” and “cell regeneration” options are forms of mesotherapy. They can hydrate or deliver active ingredients to the surface, but they don’t reach the depth or precision needed for true skin regeneration.

When asked why I’m so passionate about treating skin naturally, I reply that in my younger years I discovered through bitter personal experience what happens when you make your skin care choices based on marketing hype rather than sound science.
